Lily joined the team at Canterbury Health Hub in 2019 after graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage and Myotherapy at RMIT University, Melbourne. Since graduating, Lily has worked in multidisciplinary clinics throughout Melbourne, gaining invaluable clinical experience from some of Melbourne’s leading health practitioners and sports trainers.
Lily grew up in rural Victoria (Kerang) before moving to Melbourne in 2010. After working in a corporate role over a period, she transitioned into the Health sector, as this was her real passion. Lily decided to pursue a career in Myotherapy, as she was really connected with the philosophies adopted by a Myotherapist, particularly the holistic approach taken and also the effectiveness of the techniques, in providing great outcomes for patients.
Lily is a nurturing and passionate Myotherapist that brings with her a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for helping people towards better health. She prides herself on delivering high quality and tailored treatment to suit your requirements and strives to find a solution for your pain or discomfort. Lily is a real problem solver and works with you to uncover the missing pieces of your healthcare puzzle, in returning you to optimal health and wellbeing. She really recognizes the importance of listening and understanding your condition, working with you as a team to achieve the right outcome. She uses a wide range of techniques in her treatments, including deep tissue, relaxation, sports and remedial massage with facilitated stretching, dry needling, cupping, soft tissue and joint mobilisation, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and muscle energy techniques. Furthermore, she provides advice on stretching and/or strengthening exercises, ergonomics and posture.
She is particularly interested in acute and chronic pain conditions, postural-related pain, back pain, headaches and Women’s health. In her spare time, Lily loves to travel, read and spend time with her two cats.
