Stephanie joined the team at Canterbury Health Hub in 2013 after completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage at Endeavour College in Melbourne in 2010 as well as an Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) at The Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in 2011.
As part her Continued Professional Education, Stephanie has also completed introductory and advanced courses in Myofascial Cupping in 2011 and 2013. In 2016, Stephanie completed Anatomy Trains In Motion – Introduction to Myofascial Meridians. Along with this education, Stephanie also holds a Business (Marketing) degree, Victoria University 2005.
Stephanie is an experienced practitioner, having worked in numerous multidisciplinary Practices and sporting clubs, gaining invaluable clinical experience from some of Melbourne’s leading allied health practitioners. She has always had a passion and keen interest in the health care industry which derived from her parents both being in the medical field.
As a Myotherapist, Stephanie assesses and treats myofascial pain, injury and dysfunction affecting movement and mobility. She is a dedicated and highly skilled practitioner who prides herself on concise treatment plans and fast results. She uses a diverse range of techniques in her treatments ranging from deep tissue massage, cupping, trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilisation, myofascial release, joint articulation, sports and relaxation and pregnancy massage. Stephanie believes in taking a holistic view of each individual to form an effective treatment and management plan. She has a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology and believes in educating her clients to better understand how their bodies function in their everyday living. She also provides expert advice on corrective stretches and exercises.
Outside of her working life, Stephanie enjoys time with her partner, Adam and daughter, Gretchen. She also enjoys the arts, film, spending time with friends, reading, travel, cooking, comedy and keeping active!
