Kylie graduated from RMIT University with Distinction in 2005, after completing a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Bachelor of Osteopathic Science. She has worked in private practice for 15 years, and has always worked locally in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Kylie established and ran her own Osteopathic business for 10 years, and has now decided to join the wonderful team at Canterbury Health Hub.
Kylie is extremely passionate about Osteopathy and thrives on the variety that each patient has to offer. She enjoys the challenges, diversity and rewards of clinical practice. She loves connecting with her patients, and educating them to properly understand and manage their musculoskeletal conditions.
Having been a migraine sufferer for many years, Kylie particularly enjoys treating neck pain and headaches/migraine, as well as chronic and persistent musculoskeletal pain. She works a lot at improving posture and helping to strengthen areas of the body to provide balance and stability, treating the core of the problem rather than just the presenting complaint.
Kylie has been an active member of numerous sporting clubs over the years, including tennis, triathlons and rowing. She is trained in dry needling and worked as a sports trainer for 4 years. Kylie enjoys working with every type of fitness level from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete.
Outside of work, Kylie loves spending time with family and friends. She has two young children aged 8 and 6 who keep her on her toes, and have also sparked her love for coffee! She loves gardening and can be found at the beach most weekends with her family.
