Kat Trimble
Clinical Myotherapist & Remedial Massage Therapist
Kat joined the team at Canterbury Health Hub in 2025 after completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy) at Torrens University in 2024.
Originally from Darwin NT, Kat embraced international cultural differences around the world by embarking on a one-way trip to the UK/Europe. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling and treating life as one big adventure of discovering different cultures. Once she met her partner, she decided to embark on a different form of adventure by investing her time into rediscovering her passion in how she may be able to help people.
With an extensive history of competing in track and field, gymnastics, acrobatics, tennis and field hockey and the associated injuries suffered, ranging from neck, back, ankle and knee issues, her manual therapist treating her at the time educated her about Myotherapy and the benefits. This immediately initiated self-realisation of the direction she needed to take to embrace her new direction that led her to study and become a Myotherapist!
Kat is an enthusiastic and empathetic therapist, determined to provide the highest level of quality care to all her patients. Kat uses a wide range of techniques on people of all age groups, including soft tissue massage, dry-needling, joint mobilisations, MET and neural flossing. She particularly enjoys treating acute musculoskeletal injuries, shoulder and lower body conditions, general pain and stiffness, as well as implementing exercise and rehab programs. She prides herself on working together with her patient as a team on understanding their condition in detail and how she can tailor a treatment and management plan for an optimal outcome.
Whilst studying, Kat has worked as a Sports Trainer for Canterbury Football Club since 2023. Additionally, she worked in a large GP clinic in Richmond and NIIM in Hawthorn, providing knowledge and experience of communicating with people with a variety of concerns and complications to their daily lives.
Since completing her Bachelor degree, Kat further mentored students finishing their final semester in the same degree to help ease the anxieties around course content, the final exam and life after the course.
In her spare time, Kat enjoys hiking, take part in a yoga class and loves supporting her AFL team.
