Alysha Roberts
Osteopath
Alysha graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and a Bachelor of Health Science.
Alysha found Osteopathy at the recommendation of her high school career counsellor. Having never seen or heard about Osteopathy, she attended a University Osteopathy Open Day and has not looked back since. The career counsellor was spot on!
Alysha is a passionate and caring practitioner who loves working with people of all age groups and is dedicated to giving patients her best and providing personally tailored care.
She uses a wide range of techniques and enjoys treating conditions of the upper back and neck, including acute neck pain, headaches, pelvic floor issues and desk-based pain. She has a special interest in foot and ankle injuries, after suffering a few of her own!
Alysha has a history in sports, playing Ultimate Frisbee at a state level, and worked as a sports trainer for Old Xavier’s Football Club. These experiences have given her understanding of acute sporting injuries and athlete load management. She is also trained in dry needling and cupping and often prescribes rehabilitation exercises and stretches to aid the healing process outside of the treatment room.
Having worked on the reception desk for the past few years, during her studies and early years of her career, Alysha is a familiar face at CHH.
In her spare time, Alysha is out running, jumping and climbing. She is an avid sports player, playing Netball and Ultimate Frisbee. Recently she was in Japan competing in Ultimate Frisbee! But really, she just went over for the amazing food!
