Rowan Adams
Osteopath
Rowan graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).
Rowan found his way to osteopathy through a number of sporting injuries as he grew up playing basketball and cricket in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. His injuries lead him to seek help from an Osteopath, and he fell in love with the career and its ability to help people. His passion has grown ever since as he has needed treatment and advice from his Osteopath for low back and neck pain, and he strongly desires to pass on the benefits of osteopathy that he has enjoyed to his patients. He loves educating his patients on their conditions, and giving them a plan to empower and enable them to achieve great results with a combination of manual therapy, strength and mobility exercises.
Through his time at Victoria University he developed his communication and osteopathic skills across a diverse range of ages, demographics, and injuries, and loves to help people feel comfortable in the treatment room. He has also gained experience in acute injury assessment and management through his three years working as a sports trainer at Mulgrave Football Club.
Outside of work, Rowan enjoys maintaining his health and fitness in his local gym, as well as participating in casual sports with his friends. He also loves to play guitar. Rowan is looking forward to a new chapter of his life as he not only joins the CHH team, but also prepares to get married in a few months! He can't wait to spend two weeks overseas with his partner on their honeymoon.
