Elle Fernon
Osteopath
Elle graduated in 2008 from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. She has also completed a further Post Graduate Certificate in Neonatal and Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy.
Elle has been an Osteopath for over 17 years, practising in both Victoria and New South Wales. After completing her university studies, she worked in a clinic specialising in the care of pregnant women and babies. Over time, her approach has expanded to treat a wide range of patients, from parents and children to grandparents, uncles, and aunties—embracing the whole family unit. Elle is confident in treating patients with chronic and complex medical conditions and needs, as well as pregnant women, and has a special interest in treating upper back, neck, headaches, migraines, and TMJ-related disorders.
With a relaxed and friendly approach, Elle ensures patients feel at ease during treatment. Her techniques are tailored to each individual and may include stretching, massage, joint mobilisation and cupping. She uses gentler techniques where appropriate, especially for those with chronic conditions or when working with children and older adults.
In addition to manual therapy, Elle emphasises the importance of management strategies, including exercises, ergonomic tips and lifestyle modifications, all aimed at helping you achieve your health goals.
Outside of work, Elle is often chasing after her two energetic young boys, coffee in hand. She enjoys weights for fitness and loves exploring new cafes, especially when travelling. Having lived most of her life in the City of Boroondara, she’s happy to share recommendations for the best local spots!
