Tash Norris
Clinical Myotherapist, Remedial Massage Therapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach
Tash joined Canterbury Health Hub in 2022 with a Bachelor of Clinical Myotherapy and Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching qualifications.
Tash creates a friendly and welcoming space in her treatments and is empathetic, making sure you are heard. She adopts a strong hands-on approach through massage, dry needling and joint mobilisation, but her long-term results come from her Strength and Conditioning experience. She believes that strength is the missing link to promoting long-term, pain-free movement and posture.
Tash will work with you to establish your expectations and create a collaborative plan to provide long-term relief. She is passionate about managing her patient’s pain beyond the clinic, through specialised exercises and lifestyle assessment, to empower you with lasting relief from your appointment. Her strengths are in aerial sports such as pole dancing, silks and lyra, but is equipped to get people back to the gym, running, sport or just living a comfortable, pain-free lifestyle. She also helps patients with ongoing, poorly healed injuries successfully get back into things like hiking, running, golf and cheerleading.
Tash co-owns her own pole fitness studio in Oakleigh South and loves helping her students become strong and confident, and through this her love for myotherapy began. From her work at her studio, she accrued a wealth of knowledge on how to prevent, detect, manage, and rehabilitate injuries (including her own!), which led her into a Myotherapy career.
Tash is particularly interested in treating neck and shoulder pain, wrist and forearm pain, ankle and knee pain, providing injury rehab and exercise prescription, as well as lifestyle management.
On her days off from the clinic, Tash loves an adventure in nature as well as gardening, swimming, painting, practicing her pole sport or having a cuddle with her beloved fluffy ragdoll cat, Pablo.
