Sunny has a genuine passion for helping people recover and regain function, specialising in upper limb physiotherapy and hand therapy. She is experienced in treating complex shoulder, arm, wrist, and hand conditions using techniques such as joint manipulation, joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, wound and scar management, and custom thermoplastic splints. Her goal is to support each patient’s healing journey with compassion and expert care. Sunny is committed to ongoing learning and patient advocacy, always aiming to provide care that is both evidence-based and deeply person-centred.
Alongside physiotherapy, Sunny is an experienced registered nurse who has worked in major Melbourne hospitals. She understands the importance of caring for both the physical and emotional needs of her patients, ensuring every person feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. Sunny is also a dedicated advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, offering trauma-informed care grounded in empathy and respect. With 15 years of experience in financial services, Sunny brings strong organisational skills and a strategic approach to managing her clinic and patient care.
Outside her clinical work, Sunny is an artist and performer with extensive training in dance, martial arts, acting, and modelling. This creative background enriches her understanding of movement and body awareness, which she brings into her physiotherapy practice. When she’s not helping patients, Sunny enjoys travelling, swimming, and exploring diverse cuisines with her supportive husband and two adult children.
